In this project, the SoftSound Pro stretch ceiling acts as an invisible sound absorber. While the eye enjoys a razor-sharpe white ceiling, a technical masterpiece takes place behind the fabric:
- Superior absorption: thanks to thousands of microscopic perforations in the fabric, sound is not reflected, but absorbed.
- Alpha value of 0.85: combined with the underlying polyester absorption mats, we achieve an absorption rate of 85%. This immediately brings reverb in a room with a lot of glass and wood back to a comfortable level.
- Minimal impact: for this impressive performance, we only require an installation height of 6.5 cm relative to the existing structure.
